Enjoy Colchagua

Day 1: Our arrive at the Colchagua Valley was in Rancagua, a place which we visited some of its tourist attractions, one of them was the church of La Merced, which is a National Monument. Another place we visited was National Reserve River of cypress trees. In this place, also we went to a restaurant and ate a typical meal, la cazuela. It was a fantastic day.

Day 2: In the second day of our tour around the Colchagua Valley Pelequen. We went to Pelequen. This place is located 35 kms. To Rancagua. This place is famous for craft stands in pink stone, extracted by hand. Also this is a place in which Santa Rosa de Lima is venerated in the sanctuary. Here we ate corn pie, which was delicious.

Day 3: In the third day of our tour of the Colchagua Valley was in San Fernando. This city is the capital of the province of Colchagua. After we went to visit Las Termas del Flaco, located 77 kms. east of San Fernando. Here we had enjoyed of the natural pools, and mud baths. Also this place we ate Humas, which are very similar to corn pie. it was a very interesting day.

Day 4: In this day we visited Chimbarongo, located 20 kms. south of San Fernando. It is the cradle of wicker handicrafts of the country, which is exhibited and sold in shops on both sides of the Panamerica Highway. In this place we knew the elaboration of the craft of wicker. And ate delicious empanadas.

Day 5: In this day of our journey we visited the beautiful city of Santa Cruz, located 42 kms. west of San Fernando. In this place we went to the Casino de colchagua, in which we enjoyed playing the entertainment game machines. Also we visited the Colchagua Museum, where I knew beautiful carriages and old cars. Also we ate beans, a very wonderful meal. It was a fantastic day.

Day 6 and 7: In the last days of our trip we went to Pichilemu. We saw its beautiful beaches, practiced surf, becouse this is the best place to practice surf. Our trip was very funny because we used a carriage horse as mean of transport. For us to visit the Colchagua Valley was an experience , we would repeat again because it has been the best experience our lives and everybody can do it.
